A contemporary French provincial, this residence is an elegant family home situated on a picturesque leafy street surrounded by mature landscape.
This project faced a unique challenge with this site providing 6 metres of natural ground slope from the rear of the site, down to the front. Emphasis had to be placed to integrating this home into the natural slope of the land and retaining the original pool in the rear yard.
Inside, this residence is abundant in carefully designed spaces, including a 2-car garage with workshop area, home theatre, home office and spacious open living area and secondary large family retreat on the upper floor. This house was designed to maximize views, allow an abundant amount of light to enter each crafted space, all whilst this home is designed around the special circumstance of the natural ground slope.
At the rear of the home, is an entertaining area surrounded by carefully tiered garden areas not only providing privacy for the family, a beautifully stepped walkway up to the pool, and also allowing for amazing shadows to be cast throughout the afternoon golden hour enhancing this homes charm.
